Six JE varsity wrestlers competed Saturday at the Sectional Championships at SRC Arena. Marion Quigley had a big first round pin to get himself into the section’s top 8 at 145 pounds. At 182 pounds, Landry LaFleur earned two pins and is the first JE wrestler in 8 years to secure a spot on the sectional podium with a sixth place finish. In addition, Landry was honored by the Syracuse Wrestling Officials Association as this year’s recipient of the Reed Hawk-Lou Pettinelli Scholarship Award. This was an outstanding day for Landry and an amazing way to close out his four year varsity wrestling career. Bryan Tanner, Cole Mullen, Anthony Baron and Jared Lawrence all got a taste of sectional competition and all will return next year looking to improve and earn their own spot on the podium.
Archery tournament practice is during eagle mod in the gym on until 3:30 p.m.  If you cannot get a ride home, then you would leave at the end of Eagle Mod.  See Mrs. Engle if you have questions
Anyone that is interested in playing Golf this spring should plan to attend an informational meeting on MONDAY February 25 during Eagle Mod in Room 105.  See Coach Bondgren with questions.
