Britannica Online Encyclopedia: A good place to start for overview of your topic.

Grolier online: Dictionary, atlas, thesaurus, New Book of Knowledge Encyclopedia, Encyclopedia Americana and Grolier's Multimedia.

Proquest: A full text magazine and newspaper database (USA Today, NY Times, Christian Science Monitor).

Readers’ Guide Online: a full text magazine article database. Note: this link may not work with the AOL browser.

Careers: Occupational briefs of all careers with additional websites.

NewsBank Regional Newspapers: For local and national news

Infotrack: health, business, authors, local and world news and statistics, and the Junior Edition Reference Center.

Grove Music Online Full text of The New Grove encyclopedia of Music & Musicians, Opera, & Jazz.

AccuNet/AP Photo Archive: Database of AP photographs as current as today. Click on "search" to get started.

EBSCOhost: Extensive database in English or Spanish with articles from 760 periodicals in Masterfile Select, animal information, plus the Funk & Wagnall Encyclopedia & Primary Search.

FirstSearch: Contains many useful databases such as Medline and Wilson Select Plus.

Net Library: Electronic books available for loan.
