Welcome Back! This is the website for 4th - 7th grade music.

Here is our performance schedule for the 2011 - 2012 School Year:

Veteran's Day Assembly -  November 9th at 1pm, Ramsdell Auditorium

The Veteran's Day Assembly is for students in 4th and 5th grade, parents, and local veterans. If you know of a veteran who lives in the area, please invite them to join us for our tribute concert.

 

Holiday 5-8 Concert - December 8th at 7pm, High School Auditorium

This concert features students in grades 5 - 8 who are in band and/or chorus. We suggest arriving by 6:30 to accomodate parting and auditorium seating. Each performing group has an assigned waiting area to report to by 6:30 or 6:45. For 5th and 6th grade chorus, that area is the dance studio, located BEHIND the stage area. You will walk to the end of the hallway and go through the doors straight ahead. It looks like you will go outside, but there is a door on the left to enter the studio.

 Holiday 3 -4 Concert - December 15th at 7pm, High School Auditorium

This concert features all students in grades 3 and 4. This concert will showcase choral pieces and some instrumental features or short pieces. We suggest arriving by 6:30 to accomodate parking and auditorium seating. The students in 3rd grade will report to the cafeteria so they can perform first. The students in 4th grade will have a reserved section of seating in the auditorium to watch the 3rd graders perform, and then 4th graders will perform second. While the 4th graders are singing, we ask the third graders to remain seated in thier designated area and enjoy the show.

 

 

Just Bands Concert - April 3rd at 7pm, High School Auditorium

This concert features students in grades 5 - 12 who perform in band. It features pieces performed by all of the bands at JE; a real treat for all to hear!

 

  Pops Concert - April 19th at 7pm, High School Auditorium
This concert features students in grades 5 - 12 who perform in chorus. It features music from the radio, TV, movies, and Broadway, including genres such as jazz, pop, and modern world music.

 

 Spring 3 -4 Concert - May 22nd at 7pm, High School Auditorium

This concert features all students in grades 3 and 4. This concert will showcase choral pieces and some instrumental features or short pieces.  Please refer to the December 15 info.

 

 Spring 5-8 Concert - June 7th at 7pm, High School Auditorium

This concert features students in grades 5 - 8 who are in band and/or chorus. Please refer to the December 8 info.
