Title I Family Engagement Policy: High School
General Information
The District receives Title I, Part A funding and as such agrees to implement the following family engagement policy to meet the requirements of section 1116 of the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA). ELL Information Night - Thursday, October 18, 2023
• Inform families of Title III requirements and parent rights
• Inform families of allowable uses of Title III funds • Describe ways parents can participate in their child’s school experience • Explain how parents request the services of a translator to be available during events and conferences as needed • Describe the state standards and district’s curricula • Identify forms of assessment including report cards, local benchmarks, and state tests |

Community Outreach Efforts
