JEDIS/JEMS Student Council Hilarious Holiday Fundraiser

Jordan Elbridge Middle School and the JEDIS Student Council are hosting an annual holiday fundraiser for St. Jude's Children's Hospital. Students in grades 4-8 can sponsor a JEMS/JEDIS staff member with $1 or more. The staff member who earns the most money will have to wear a hilarious inflatable holiday costume on December 21st!

The funds are then donated to St. Jude's. Last year we raised over $500 for children with cancer. Because of donations like ours, the families of children receiving care at St. Jude's never receive a bill and are even provided meals and transportation when their child undergoes prolonged treatment. Last year our donations paid for multiple red wagons, which St. Jude's staff decorate like chariots to escort tired kiddos to their rooms after receiving treatment. St. Jude's told us that these kids always smile and enjoy the ride.

If you would like to donate to St. Jude's, please donate and send in your vote dollars to school with your child. Any amount is appreciated!  A receipt can be issued to you if requested.

This is always an exciting and silly fundraiser for a great cause.  As this month's learner profile trait at JEMS is caring, this service project is a great opportunity to teach the value of helping those in need.
