International Baccalaureate at JEMS

The Jordan-Elbridge Middle School was recognized as an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School on Jan. 27, 2016 after earning Middle Years Programme (MYP) accreditation. The middle school started on the path towards becoming an IB school in 2011 by sending teachers to professional development opportunities and having teachers visit IB schools around the region.

The IB Middle Years Program, for students aged 11-16, is designed as an inclusive, whole school program by the IB. To see a Parents Guide to the MYP, click here. And to see more facts about the MYP, please click here.
