Non-Instructional/Civil Service Positions - Currently Hiring

12-Month Anticipated Probationary Account Clerk I (HELP Program): needed in the business office.  This is a 12 month position 

Hours of Work: 8 am until 4 pm, Monday through Friday

Starting Wage: $22-$24 p/hr. DOE

Job Description: Responsible for all accounts payable processes and receivable billing. Billing for health and dental services. Monitoring fuel, credit card, and food service accounts. Minimum Qualifications:

No test required. Position is a part of the HELP program. Must meet the following requirements to apply:

One (1) year of full-time work experience, or its part-time equivalent, which must include as a regularly occurring function of the job some financial account keeping duties, such as reconciling bank statements, posting to ledgers, making entries to journals, or checking vouchers and purchase orders for arithmetical accuracy and completeness; or, successful completion of three (3) semester credit hours in college-level Accounting from a regionally accredited or New York State registered college, university, or business school.

School Bus Driver:  $28.88 per hour - including 9 PTO days a year and 9 paid holidays.  Possession of a valid New York State CDL, A, B or C w/P & S endorsements and 19A preferred.  We will train.

Substitute Teachers:    Certified Teacher’s salary is $18.00 per hour ($135.00 per day for 7.5 hours) 
Non-Certified teacher's salary is $17.00
per hour.  Non-certified qualifications require a associates degree in any area.    
Subs are needed in all building levels: Elementary: From our 3 year old program up to 3rd grade. - JE Intermediate School (JEDIS):  4th & 5th grade -Middle School: 6th-8th grade - High School: 9-12th grade   Click here for the JE online application 

Substitute Teaching Assistants: No certification is required, but preferred. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Salary is $16.50 per hour. Click here to apply on OLAS online application

Substitute Nurses: $24.00 per hour (180.00 per day for 7.5 hours)   Registered and Licensed Practical Nurses are needed to substitute.  Perfect for retired or PT nurses.  Accept jobs according to YOUR availability.  Daily shifts are 7.5 hours a day with a paid ½ hour lunch.
