Probationary Mathematics Teacher:  

We're looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable Middle School Math Teacher to join our team for the start of the 2026-2027 school year.

We're looking for someone who has a solid understanding of middle school math concepts, with a concentration in 7th grade math. An individual who is able to create engaging and effective lessons and who can support students in their mathematical development.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

  • Valid NYSED Teaching certification in Mathematics.

  • Experience teaching middle school mathematics (7th grade math).

  • Good communication and classroom management skills.

Non-Instructional/Civil Service Positions - Currently Hiring

 

Provisional Assistant Director of Facilities II - This position is responsible for assisting with the management and oversight of all district buildings and grounds operations, including the supervision of custodial and grounds staff.

This is a provisional appointment through Onondaga County Civil Service, and the selected candidate must meet civil service qualifications and successfully pass the civil service examination when it is offered to maintain the position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning, coordination, and supervision of all buildings and grounds operations across the district
  • Supervise and support custodial and grounds crew staff, including scheduling, training, and performance oversight
  • Ensure school facilities and grounds are clean, safe, and properly maintained
  • Assist in coordinating maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance programs
  • Help oversee facility use, work orders, and operational needs of district buildings
  • Monitor and help manage supplies, equipment, and materials for custodial and grounds operations
  • Support compliance with safety standards, regulations, and district policies
  • Assist the Business Official and Superintendent of Schools with operational planning and daily department management

Additional Information 

  • This is a full-time, 12-month position
  • Appointment will be made provisionally in accordance with Onondaga County Civil Service rules

Part-Time School Lunch Monitor: $16.00 per hour -  Monday- Friday 10:30 am - 1:30 pm at Elbridge Elementary School.  Must show an ability to get along effectively with students. Physical condition commensurate with the demands of the position.
