Five Elbridge Elementary students to have artwork in exhibit at Beaver Lake Nature Center

Works from five Elbridge Elementary students were selected for an art exhibit in April at Beaver Lake Nature Center. The exhibit celebrates the artistic achievements of elementary level students and features a variety of work relating to nature themes, including animals and landscapes in the form of paintings, drawings, prints, collage and more.

The students include Victoria Makarchuk and Kendall MacCollum from the first grade along with third grade students Emily Curry, Dylan McShane and Isabella Germano.

An opening reception will be held at 4:30 p.m., Saturday, April 6, to honor the young artists. Each of the students will receive a certificate and ribbon in recognition of his/her participation in the show.

“Student Art - Naturally” is organized annually by the Central Region of the New York State Art Teachers Association in co-operation with Beaver Lake Nature Center.
