Cell Phone Policy

Dear Students,

Students are not to use their cell phones or other electronic devises during the instructional day unless granted permission by their teacher. Students who bring cell phones to school must store them in their lockers. The school cannot be responsible for electronic devices including cell phones, I-pads, I-pods, or other computer devices. School personnel may confiscate cell phones or other devices if they are used inappropriately. They will be returned to parents. This policy will be strictly enforced.

It is important that all cell phone use, whether at school or away from school is appropriate. We remind you that what you send and receive can be saved and can be evidence of inappropriate use, which can result in school discipline consequences.

Students will be asked to store phones in their locker prior to homeroom each day and leave it secured there for the entire day. Cell phones may NOT be used is the hallways or cafeteria. We hope you will fully engage in your education and use cell phones only at appropriate times. Should you have any questions regarding cell phone or electronic device use during school hours, please contact Ms. Farnsworth.
