Superintendent's Welcome
Welcome to the Jordan-Elbridge Central School District!
At Jordan-Elbridge, we offer rural living, big city amenities at your fingertips, and most of all, a quality education.
Most importantly, Jordan-Elbridge offers a top-notch education where school begins at 3 years old and can culminate with a full scholarship for the first two years of college. At JE, academic opportunities abound and include:
- Full-day pre-kindergarten programs for 3-year-old (3YP) and 4-year-old (4YP) students. Both place an emphasis on play in the curriculum and focus on building key foundational skills crucial to development. The programs are taught by certified teachers employed by the district and transportation is included. Also, there is no charge for district residents.
- An International Baccalaureate (IB) Middle Years Program (MYP) at Jordan-Elbridge Middle School. IB learning is all about drawing connections between all subject areas and infusing global points of view. Less than 30 middle schools in the state currently qualify as an IB school!
- Our Early College High School program at Jordan-Elbridge High School, offered in conjunction with Onondaga Community College (OCC), where students can earn both a New York high school diploma and an associate degree.
- The OCC Advantage Program at the high school. The OCC Advantage allows students who meet certain criteria to attend Onondaga Community College on a full scholarship after they graduate.
