Students who self-transport are to park in the field house lot, arrive at 7:15 a.m., and enter through the south doors of the technology wing. Upon entry they will have their temperature checked.

Students who are dropped off are to enter through the north events entry doors at 7:10 a.m. and stop to use the temperature screening station before proceeding to class. If a student registers a temperature of 100.0°F or higher, he or she will be sent home.
Note: Late arrivals will be screened at the high school main office entrance.

Each grade will be dismissed following a staggered bell schedule:
  • On Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, students will be dismissed at 2:00 p.m.
  • On Wednesdays, students will be dismissed at 1:45 p.m.
Students are to go directly to their bus, vehicle or parent pick-up area at dismissal.

Breakfast, Lunch and Attendance

In the morning, students may take a grab-n-go breakfast from the cafeteria upon entering the building and then report directly to their homerooms.

The lunch menu will be limited to one choice per day. Students will pick-up their lunch in the cafeteria. Lunch will be held in the cafeteria and large group instruction room.

For both in-person and remote instruction, teachers will record student absences on a daily basis.

Student Restroom Use

Hall monitors will supervise students as they use the restrooms throughout the school day. The student restrooms will be cleaned and disinfected on an hourly basis. Access to the bathrooms will be limited to two students at one time in order to maintain appropriate social distancing. There will be signs outside the bathrooms indicating if restrooms are at full occupancy.

Remote Learning (In the event of a school closure)

The first day of school is Tuesday, September 7th. Please login to your school email and to your Google Classroom. Your teachers will have directions, a course syllabus and course expectations posted on their Google Classrooms.  Your user name and password is the same as previous years. If you need your password updated please contact Mrs. Sharyl Smith at 315-689-8510 x 1012.

What does my remote schedule look like in the event of a school closure?

  • Attendance will be taken daily, by students attending Google Meet lessons.
  • Students will follow their regular in-person school schedule as their remote schedule. Please be on time for lessons. (I recommend taking a picture of your class schedule with your phone.)
  • Please follow the regular bell schedule on Wednesdays, not the Wednesday bell schedule.
  • Teachers will be live via Google Meet during your class times.
  • Students please have your cameras on and be engaged during the lesson.
  • Teachers will provide clear expectations of their assignments posted on their Google Classrooms.
  • Establish a routine and a quiet place in your home to focus on your school work.
