Open House Follow-Up

Hello JEDIS Students and Families,

It was a pleasure getting to meet you all on Wednesday evening. Seeing the building filled with smiles and laughter again was wonderful. We are so excited to welcome back all of our students on Tuesday September 7^th. In the midst of all of the excitement on Wednesday, I feel that a lot of questions went unanswered. In order to ensure a successful return, I wanted to reach out with some information regarding the JEDIS school day for you all.

Arrival and Dismissal

Arrival of self-transports and walkers - 7:50-8:00 a.m.
Arrival of district-transports - 8:00 a.m.
 
Dismissal of district-transports - 3:00 p.m.
Dismissal of self-transports and walkers - 3:03 p.m.
 

Wednesday’s Early Release

**The district has moved back to Early Release Wednesdays to facilitate Professional Learning Communities for our staff in grades 4-12.

Bus Dismissal - 2:28 p.m.
Parent pick-up - 2:30 p.m.

Note:
Parent drop-off and pick-up will be in front of the bus garage. When arriving to school, please follow the line of cars that will begin to form in front of the bus garage. At arrival students will be let off one at a time. During dismissal, cars will follow the circle and students will walk to their cars. Please remain in your vehicles during this time.
 

Late Arrival/Early Dismissal

Students who arrive after the arrival time will need to enter through the Middle School Entrance and check in with the nurse. They will then be escorted up to the JEDIS wing. Parents who need to take their child to an appointment prior to the end of the school day are asked to pull into the district office traffic circle, park by the first blue door, and call the JEDIS main office, Ext. 3002.  A staff member will escort the child out.
