Poland pen pals send JECSD a Christmas message

For months now, English Language Learner students across multiple grade levels at Jordan-Elbridge have been sending letters back and forth with students in Poland. You may remember in November, we showed you a Thanksgiving traditions video JE students put together to send to their Poland pals. Now, students in Poland have returned the favor by singing Christmas carols, and sending a holiday message back to us here in the United States. The pen pal project in Danuta Goldmann's classes is called “Words on Wings Across the Ocean.” All students who are participating, in both countries, are learning English as a second language. JEDIS students in 4^th and 5^th grade, and 8^th graders are taking part.
