- Resolving symptoms means: No fever for 72 hours, no runny nose, and no persistent cough
- Individual should mask (returning students will be provided a KN95 mask or surgical mask from the school district for the remaining 5 days) around others for an additional five (5) days
- Symptomatic or immunocompromised individuals must isolate for the full ten (10) days
- Individuals unable to tolerate a mask must isolate for a full ten (10) days
Quarantine Orders after a close exposure to COVID-19
Depends on your vaccination status:
- Not fully vaccinated (including those eligible for a booster, but not yet received the booster) - quarantine for five (5) days, and mask for an additional five (5) days
- Fully vaccinated (now defined as those who have received a booster, if eligible, with the booster being at least two weeks prior) - no quarantine required
- If a close contact is symptomatic, regardless of the vaccination status, they will need to quarantine and should test for COVID-19
