Student work to be published in 'Three Lakes Sampler'
Jordan-Elbridge students are being recognized in the 2022 ‘Three Lakes Sampler.’ The art and writing publication is put together by the Talented and Gifted Committee of the Cayuga Onondaga BOCES. It highlights the creative talents of students in the component districts. This year, the work will also be showcased in an exhibit at the Schweinfurth Art Center in Auburn.“The show has not been held at the Schweinfurth since 2019 due to the pandemic,” explained art teacher Erin Sadowski. “So, we are thrilled to be hanging the exhibit again this year!”
The ‘Three Lakes Sampler’ pieces are featured within an annual exhibit called “Both Ends of the Rainbow,” which showcases more than 1,000 pieces created by area-students in grades pre-k through 12. The ‘Three Lakes Sampler’ exhibit can be found in Gallery Julius.
This year the show will run from February 6th to March 12th. There will not be a reception this year to open the show, but anyone is welcome to visit the exhibit between 1-5 p.m. that first day.
Reservations are not required, unless you are planning a group visit. Everyone is required to wear a mask regardless of vaccination status.
