JEMS students connect through March Madness celebration
Middle school students spent Tuesday morning decorating their homeroom doors in celebration of March Madness! JEMS Culture Club came up withHere’s how it worked: each homeroom randomly drew a NCAA basketball team that has made it to the ‘Sweet Sixteen’ round of March Madness. Students were then given supplies and had two hours to decorate their homeroom door. The doors had to clearly show which team was being represented, display three facts about the team or school, and three facts about the city/town that the school is located in.
Students can continue working on the doors through April 5th, when judging will take place. Two homerooms will be chosen as winners, and will receive a pizza party.
