Two JEHS spring athletes participate in 'Signing Day' event
Two JEHS seniors have been recognized for their athletic accomplishments throughout high school. Anisa Adi and Colin Jewsbury will both be playing a sport at the collegiate level next year, a feat only 7% of high school athletes accomplish.Anisa, daughter of Jessica and Sean Bort, will be playing tennis at LeMoyne College. She plans to study psychology while in school. Anisa said she chose LeMoyne because of its location and academic excellence. Anisa was offered a $100,000 academic scholarship to attend, and is one of only nine players accepted onto the tennis team. Congratulations, Anisa!
Colin, son of Jason and Lori Jewsbury, will attend SUNY Oswego to play golf. Colin plans to study computer science while in college. He said he chose Oswego because of its proximity to home, and because he liked the golf program. Congratulations, Colin!
