Varsity boys and girls soccer teams complete summer leagues, prepare for fall season
Both the boys and girls varsity soccer teams are wrapping up summer league play and preparing for the fall season ahead.
The boys team hosted six high school teams, one each Sunday for six weeks of play. In the final week of play, the boys lost 2-3 vs. Bishop Luddon in a hard working battle.
The team's summer MVP is Ayden Campion, who attend all off-season trainings and according to coaches, represented the school with class!
The girls played all summer at Nottingham High school fields in Syracuse.
I am proud of these ladies and I’m excited to coach them this fall season," said Coach Martin.
The team's summer MVP is Haley Root. She also attended all off-season trainings and was awarded the first captain position of the 2022 fall soccer season.
"We have a long way to go but I’m so proud of our soccer program. We’re on our way to improvement," added Coach Martin.

The Jordan-Elbridge soccer program would like to thank Dan and Joe Patrick for allowing the teams to play all summer with school fields and insurance, and Chris Hudson for providing concessions. A big thank you also goes to the grounds and maintenance crew, and also JE's custodial staff for helping out.
Good luck to JE's soccer teams in the fall. Go Eagles!
