Loren Barrigar to perform for JEHS students during Pre-test De-stress Day

Jordan-Elbridge alumni Loren Barrigar and his son LJ will be inspiring high school students through song during pre-test de-stress day on May 25^th. The motivational assembly and concert are possible due to a grant from CNY Arts.

Through video clips, songs, and stories, Loren will share the story of his resilience and determination to follow his dreams after a serious chainsaw accident in 2019. Loren will tell students how he was able to accept his injury and forge ahead by never giving up, allowing help from others, and learning to adjust his plan to keep his dreams alive.

Loren and LJ plan to take the concert to students in schools across the state. This performance follows two small group sessions that Loren and LJ held with JEHS chorus and band students earlier in the month of May.
