Golden Vision: EE Students Shine Bright with "Golden Glasses" Awards

Elbridge Elementary is proud to announce the recipients of the disguinished "Golden Glasses" award for the month of September. This award celebrates the exemplary acts of selflessness and kindness exhibited by our outstanding students who have consistently gone above and beyond to make our school community a better place.

In the third year since it's inception, the award started innocently enough when Principal Brooke Bastian's son, Cale, saw the glittering golden glasses on his mother's desk and proclaimed, "mommy, you should use these and call them the 'Golden Glasses' award for kids who are soaring!" 

In a world where acts of kindness are more crucial than ever, EE is thrilled to honor these young soaring Eagles' who have demonstrated an unwavering commitment to spreading compassion and positivity. The "Golden Glasses" award is a testament to their exceptional character and the positive impact they have on their peers and teachers.

Throughout the month of September, the following students consistently demonstrated the core values of empathy, selflessness, and kindness:

6. Bailey Bendle
7. Benjamin Derby
8. Violet Collier

These students stood out from their peers with their willingness to lend a helping hand, offer a comforting word, or initiate acts of goodwill, both inside and outside the classroom. Each student received a certificate, as well as seeing their names on the front sign at EE. 

"We are incredibly proud of our 'Golden Glasses' award recipients for their remarkable acts of kindness and selflessness", said Principal Bastian. "We believe that recognizing and celebrating these positive behaviors will inspire others to follow in their footsteps."
