JEDIS Celebrates Teamwork and Curiosity at Recent P2 Assembly

At Jordan-Elbridge Dynamic Intermediate School (JEDIS), the excitement around character education was palpable during the last week's Positivity Project (P2) assembly. As part of the school’s commitment to building positive relationships and strong character, JEDIS incorporates the Positivity Project into daily life for students in grades 4 and 5. The program highlights 24 character strengths throughout the year, with each week dedicated to one specific strength.

For the 2024-2025 school year, JEDIS kicked things off by teaching students about teamwork and curiosity. Teachers, staff, and administrators keep a close eye on those modeling these strengths, recognizing their efforts during assemblies like the recent one.

Students and staff who demonstrated exceptional teamwork were awarded certificates, tokens for the school’s book vending machine, and had their pictures added to the “Other People Matter” wall outside the JEDIS office—a hallmark of the Positivity Project’s philosophy.
