JEHS Celebrates Fall Varsity Sports Awards Night

Jordan-Elbridge High School hosted its annual Fall Varsity Sports Awards ceremony last week, bringing together student-athletes, coaches, families, and community members for an evening of celebration. The event recognized the dedication and accomplishments of athletes across multiple varsity sports. Director of Health, Physical Education, and Athletics Daniel Stadtmiller opened the ceremony with a warm welcome, acknowledging the collective efforts that contributed to a successful fall season.

In his opening remarks, Stadtmiller extended heartfelt thanks to the athletes, coaches, families, school staff, and supporters whose contributions made the season memorable. He commended the student-athletes for their hard work, sportsmanship, and dedication, noting the high standards they set as representatives of Jordan-Elbridge.

Each varsity coach took the stage to share highlights from their respective seasons and present awards to outstanding players. The evening featured presentations for Varsity Boys Football, Varsity Boys Soccer, Varsity Girls Soccer, Varsity Girls Volleyball, Varsity Golf, Varsity Cheerleading, and Varsity Boys and Girls Cross Country. Coaches reflected on the growth of their teams, the challenges faced throughout the season, and the camaraderie built along the way.

Highlights included the Varsity Boys Football coach recognizing key performances and leadership that helped the team bond and compete. Varsity Boys Soccer and Varsity Girls Soccer coaches both praised their teams for resilience and teamwork, highlighting memorable plays and moments. The Varsity Girls Volleyball coach celebrated the team’s progress, emphasizing their dedication and energy on the court, ahead of their sectional championship match.

In the golf program, the Varsity Golf coach applauded individual achievements and milestones reached this season. Varsity Cheerleading, known for its spirited support at games, was recognized for its athletes' hard work and commitment. Lastly, the Varsity Boys and Girls Cross Country coaches highlighted their runners’ determination, personal records, and the team’s achievements in various meets.

Individual awards were given to athletes who demonstrated exceptional skill, leadership, and commitment to their teams. These awards reflected not only athletic performance but also the values of teamwork, perseverance, and character that Jordan-Elbridge aims to instill in all its student-athletes.
