Marching Into Imagination: The JE Marching Eagles Present “Play Well, A LEGO Story”

The Jordan-Elbridge Marching Eagles are building something truly special this fall—brick by brick, beat by beat.

The 2025 field show, titled “Play Well, A LEGO Story,” invites audiences into the boundless imagination of a child, where creativity reigns and possibilities are as endless as the colorful bricks themselves.

“The show this year explores the imagination of a child through the medium of LEGO,” said Band Director Dan English. “With no preconceived rules or boundaries, the imagination is free to be as creative as possible. During the production, the audience will be taken on a ride as all the weird and wacky ideas of the child are built in real time on the field. Join us in a world of pure imagination!”

Expect bold visuals, whimsical musical selections, and clever choreography as the Marching Eagles bring this story to life through music, movement, and a little magic.

Celebrate 50 Years of Excellence at the Home Show – Sept. 6

The community is invited to experience the show live at the JE Home Show on Saturday, September 6, where the Marching Eagles will perform alongside seven other competing bands from across the state.

This year’s Home Show is especially meaningful—it marks the 50th anniversary of Jordan-Elbridge’s participation in the New York State Field Band Conference. To celebrate, a special Alumni Event will take place during the day’s festivities. Whether you marched in the '80s, played trumpet in the 2000s, or simply cheered from the stands, there’s a place for every former member and fan to join in the celebration.

Get ready to relive the memories, reconnect with friends, and cheer on a new generation of Marching Eagles as they take flight into a season filled with imagination, heart, and plenty of LEGO-inspired surprises.
