Jordan-Elbridge Marching Eagles Celebrate 50th Anniversary with Alumni Reunion Weekend
The Jordan-Elbridge Central School District proudly celebrated the 50th Anniversary of the Marching Eagles with a special alumni weekend on September 5–6, 2025.
The festivities began Friday night as alumni registered, rehearsed, and performed at halftime of the Cato-Meridian vs. Jordan-Elbridge Varsity Football game, followed by a reception at The Millstone.
Saturday’s schedule included school tours, a US Bands Show, alumni video memory recordings, and rehearsals before the annual Jordan-Elbridge Home Show. The evening featured 11 bands from across New York, with the highlight coming at 6:57 PM when alumni joined the current Marching Eagles on the field for a powerful combined performance of “Battle Hymn of the Republic.”
In total, 175 alumni traveled from across the country—including Florida, the Carolinas, California, Michigan, Indiana, and Colorado. The event also welcomed back 10 of the 13 past band directors, as well as many siblings and alumni parents who now have children in the program.
The grand finale earned an encore and showcased the lasting bond of the Marching Eagles. As the community reflected on five decades of memories, one message rang clear: Eagle Pride!
