JEHS Celebrates 2026 Graduates of Distinction and Academic Award Recipients

Jordan-Elbridge High School proudly celebrated excellence, achievement, and service during its 2026 Graduates of Distinction and Academic Awards Ceremony.

The afternoon began with remarks from Superintendent of Schools James Froio, who reflected on another successful year across the district and recognized the accomplishments of students, staff, and alumni who continue to make Jordan-Elbridge proud.

Graduates of Distinction Committee Co-Chairs Jason Kufs and Dan Bondgren then welcomed the 2026 Graduates of Distinction inductees, each of whom has demonstrated exceptional achievement in their respective fields while serving as outstanding representatives of Jordan-Elbridge High School.

This year's inductees included:

  • Eloise Hoyt Rogers (Class of 2008), Assistant Professor of Surgery in the Division of Trauma, Acute Care and Critical Care Surgery at Penn State Health's Milton S. Hershey Medical Center.
  • Catherine M. White (Class of 2007), Assistant Professor of Medicine and Associate Program Director/Director of Ambulatory Education for the Upstate Internal Medicine Residency Program.
  • Heather Swift (Class of 2005), Chief of Staff for Congressman Ryan Zinke.
  • Timothy G. Siddall (Class of 1977), a retired New York State Trooper, Investigator, Sergeant, and Station Commander who also served Jordan-Elbridge as a School Resource Officer for more than a decade.

Each inductee shared reflections on their journey from Jordan-Elbridge High School to their current careers, offering words of encouragement and inspiration to the students in attendance.

Following the Graduates of Distinction inductions, the ceremony transitioned to recognizing current Jordan-Elbridge students for their academic excellence. Students receiving awards were invited to the stage as faculty and staff presented honors across a variety of disciplines.

Awards were presented in Science, Art, World Language, Social Studies, Music, English, Mathematics, and Guidance, recognizing students who have demonstrated outstanding achievement, dedication, leadership, and growth throughout the school year.

The afternoon served as a celebration of the Jordan-Elbridge tradition of excellence, highlighting both distinguished alumni and current students whose accomplishments continue to strengthen the school's legacy.

Congratulations to all of the 2026 Graduates of Distinction inductees and academic award recipients on their well-deserved recognition. Your hard work, perseverance, and commitment to excellence make the entire Jordan-Elbridge community proud!
