Audrey Clark Honored with CNYAPT Bus Driver Award for Excellence in Student Safety

One example of Audrey’s outstanding service occurred on April 14, 2026, when she demonstrated remarkable awareness and quick decision-making during a potentially dangerous situation. After recognizing a threat at a bus stop, Audrey immediately took action to relocate students to a safe location and notify the appropriate authorities. Her calm demeanor and decisive response ensured that every child on her bus remained safe.

While this incident exemplifies Audrey’s commitment to student safety, it is far from the only reason she was selected for this honor. Audrey consistently invests time in training, reinforces safety procedures with students, and creates an environment where communication, trust, and respect thrive.
