About the Director of Health, PE, and Athletics

Welcome to Jordan-Elbridge Athletics!
My name is Dan Stadtmiller and I am the Director of Health, PE, and Athletics here at Jordan-Elbridge. I bring extensive experience in education, coaching, and sports administration. Before stepping into this role, I served as the Alternative Education Administrator and interim assistant principal in the Fulton City School District. With a strong background in leadership, I am dedicated to fostering a positive and competitive athletic culture while supporting student-athletes in their academic and personal growth.
With over a decade of experience teaching middle and high school physical education and health at North Rose-Wolcott Central School District and the Fulton City School District, I have a deep understanding of student development. My dedication to health education was recognized in 2015 when I was honored as the Central NY Health Teacher of the Year.
Additionally, I have coached a variety of sports at all levels, including hockey, golf, soccer, lacrosse, and baseball, emphasizing teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship. My leadership in athletics has helped develop student-athletes who excel both on and off the field. I have also served as the director of coaching for the past 3 years at the Lysander Youth Hockey Association as well as a coach for a variety of teams.
As Athletic Director, I am committed to expanding athletic opportunities, improving facilities, and promoting a well-rounded approach to student-athlete success. It is my goal to ensure that every athlete receives the support they need to achieve their full potential.
Outside of athletics, I enjoy exercising, being outdoors, watching sports of any kind, and spending time with my 3 sons and dog. You can likely find me in any central NY ice rink on any given day I am not at a JE event!
