JEDIS/JEMS Student Council Hilarious Holiday Fundraiser:
Jordan Elbridge Middle School and the JEDIS Student Council are hosting an annual holiday fundraiser for St. Jude's Children's Hospital. Students in grades 4-8 can sponsor a JEMS/JEDIS staff member with $1 or more. The staff member who earns the most money will have to wear a hilarious inflatable holiday costume on December 21st!
The funds are then donated to St. Jude's. Last year we raised over $500 for children with cancer. Because of donations like ours, the families of children receiving care at St. Jude's never receive a bill and are even provided meals and transportation when their child undergoes prolonged treatment. Elbridge Elementary is delighted to announce the revival of a beloved tradition that brings joy to the hearts of both students and the local community. Throughout the month of October, first graders made their way to the Elbridge Free Library to receive their library cards. This tradition, which began in 2008, was temporarily discontinued in 2017 due to the tragic loss of a beloved teacher. Now, after five years of absence, it has been being joyously reinstated.
